In 2004, celebrating his tenth birthday the Laboratório do Ator group organized the I Rota de Fuga Festival Cênico.  The variety of styles and languages allowed to gather artists and groups recognized by the quality of their works. Most of the participants have in commum the fact that nowadays are under the light spots of Brazil's theatrical stage scenario.

The expected program was take place in many points of Campinas, a city with such unique cultural richness, plugged undoubtfully to the contemporarity. Beyond the plays, the Festival also was count with seminars and specialization workshops.
